Client Challenge
Due Diligence of a Hybrid (Solar and Diesel) Generation Facility in an Off-grid Area for the Provision of Power Supply to Busuanga Island Electric Cooperative.

Our approach

• The scope of the project was to undertake the technical and financial due diligence of a hybrid (solar with diesel) generation facility and assess the technical and financial viability of the investment in the project.
• The output of the project included proposing the appropriate tariff to be charged to the customers, the assessment and development of demand and energy forecasts, power plant technology assessment, power plant site assessment, financial modelling, credit assessment of the off-taker of power, and project risk assessment.
